The orientation of the grids on the beacon, if they are facing front towards the hook, or rear away from the hook. Or if the grids are 360 degrees around the whole beacon.
Changes the color of the gridding on the perks. Gridding are the small dots on the perk itself, a minor optional accent on the tubes.
Prevents Bottoming Out, recycles water from the top of the chamber to below for a continuous function. See FAQ for more info on bottoming out.

Normal vs Overgrid, Size of holes in the perk. I prefer the normal although some like the added restriction that the overgrid gives. Overgrids need cleaning more frequently.
